The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance released its first quarterly report of the year covering the months of January-March. The Alliance hit the ground running in 2023 with a record crowd for the annual Northern Michigan Policy Conference.
Later in the quarter, the Alliance scored two critical budget wins. In February, the Alliance helped deliver nearly $15 million in investments to bolster workforce training initiatives in Petoskey and Traverse City. In March, two Alliance members were appointed by Governor Whitmer to positions on statewide housing authorities.
