NMCA Releases Second Quarter Report

The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance has released its second quarterly report of the year. It was a big quarter for the Alliance as they led the way in establishing and securing funding for the new Office of Rural Development (ORD). Furthermore, the former CEO of the Lake Superior Community Partnership, an NMCA Partner, Sarah Lucas, took the helm at the ORD in April.

Other significant wins for the Alliance include helping historic child care reform bills cross the finish line and pushing a package of attainable housing legislation closer to the Governor’s desk. Catch up on the policy action, events, and upcoming election information from the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance in the Q2 Partner Update.
