The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance released its third quarterly report of the year covering the months of July-September (plus October) kicked off with the signing of the state budget, which included funding for the Office of Rural Development and concluded with multiple fundraising events by the Northern Michigan Policy Fund for state-level candidates.
The Alliance is preparing for 2023 as it watches for activity in the Michigan legislature during the closing weeks of 2022 in the lame duck period.
Save the date of January 20 for the annual Northern Michigan Policy Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa and look for announcements of speakers and topics in the coming weeks.
